Introduced in 2000, the Royal Oak Chronograph 'City of Sails' was created by Audemars Piguet to celebrate the Swiss Challenge in the America's Cup held in Auckland, New Zealand. Produced in a limited edition of just 300 pieces, reference 25860 features a lightweight titanium case and is powered by the ultra-thin Calibre 2385, based on the renowned Frédéric Piguet 1185 movement.
Its striking blue 'Tapisserie' dial, accented by yellow hands and hour markers, pays tribute to the maritime spirit of the event, while the caseback is engraved with the 'City of Sails' nickname associated with Auckland.
