Vase
In polychrome earthenware. Yellow background with a colourful bouquet painted on the front and a scattering of flowers on the reverse. Visible hand-painted signature: ‘M. Latour’.

One handle broken and reattached
M. Latour was a decorator at the second factory in Saint-Jean du Désert, before becoming a decorator at Proceram in Aubagne.
Included is a small lot of items comprising seven small bread plates signed ‘Sicard’, a lidded sugar bowl, a set of three plates decorated with painted fish and another set of two plates. A four-compartment serving dish, a lemon-shaped jug and a decorative Spanish tile depicting a fishmonger, and a tobacco pot, which is chipped.
Also included is a polychrome earthenware sculpture in the round depicting a ‘fauco’ with the ingredients for making bouillabaisse, arranged like a still life.
Second half of the 20th century
Heavily damaged and restored.
