Paris, Bibliothèque de l'art culinaire, 1910. 8vo (185 × 342 mm), green half-basane, ribbed spine, author, title and fleur-de-lis embossed in gold. Covers preserved. 94 pp. Normal wear and tear. Second edition, largely original, following the extremely rare first edition of 1885. The volume is adorned with a portrait of the author on the frontispiece and a photograph of a wax magnolia he created for the 1902 London Culinary Exhibition. The illustrations also include 40 engravings within the text. A copy from the standard paper run, following the 250 numbered first edition copies. Oberlé, no. 260.
