A collection comprising around 50 black-and-white photographs taken during the Memorial Day commemorations in May 1954 in Saint-Avold and Thiaucourt (Grand-Est).
Civilian dignitaries, American and French military personnel, and French veterans. Military ceremonies, speeches by dignitaries, a banquet attended by the dignitaries, and an American military cemetery.
On the back of one photograph is the stamp of the Secretary-General (Henry Sanglier) of the Former Liaison Officers with the US Army
