PAIR OF EGYPTIAN PREDYNASTIC TERRACOTTA JARS WITH RED ENGOBE GEOMETRIC MOTIFS Ca. 4000 - 3000 BC.
A pair of terracotta jars, including, from left to right: a broad jar with a rounded body, thickened rim, and pierced lug handles set high on the shoulder, with traces of red engobe geometric motifs across the body; and a squat jar with a rounded body, short neck, everted rim, and pierced lug handles at the sides, with red engobe geometric motifs around the exterior.
