Paris, Pierre Thierry, 1556. In-16, vellum (antique binding). A very rare new edition of this work, first published in Latin in 1549 and translated into French in 1550. According to Du Verdier, the author of this translation was Jean Goeurot, physician to François I. Baron Pichon's copy (1898, II, n°1936). Handwritten note on the title; handwritten annotations in the margins and underlined passages. Tear on f. 58 removing some text. Marginal staining on first few leaves. Vicaire, 140 (edition of 1550).
