Ottoman Empire, circa 1800.
Dagger with curved steel blade with central edge and double cutting edge. The hilt is entirely decorated in gold koftgari with scrolls and arabesques. A signature 'âlam 'Osmân' appears on the hilt. Leather-covered wooden scabbard.
