We are pleased to present a new selection of audio equipment from our specialist auction series, "The Golden Age of Hi-Fi". The history of music is inextricably linked with that of radio. The equipment specifications of major institutions such as the Maison de la Radio, which later became the ORTF, were based on the need for quality sound transcription. As a result, designers such as ELIPSON, thanks to extensive research into acoustics from the late 1950s onwards, came up with some remarkable equipment, such as this "Meuble d'écoute" (listening cabinet), the upper part of which is ovoid in shape and which enthusiasts have renamed the "Religieuse". The collection also included studio equipment, vinyl turntables, tape recorders and mixing desks, as well as a rare Pierre Clément acetate lacquer engraver. The analogue years are still very much with us, both for music lovers and design aficionados, with this complete HELIUM system or the ARCANE system, which was hailed as "the best audio system in the world" by the specialist press when it came out. The sale also included a collection of different equipment, including some from the Swiss brand Goldmund, as well as a PARAGON JBL for a project to restore it to its original condition. Vinyl Records, Cassettes, CDs, Hifi and Vintage Audio Equipment: Turntables, CD/DVD Players, Amplifiers, Pre-amps, Tape and Cassette Recorders, Tuners, Speakers, Headphones, Radios, Cables and Accessories.
