Description
1989 Porsche 930 Turbo WLS G50 Chassis WP0ZZZ93ZKS000301 French registration document - G50 gearbox - WLS engine: 330 hp (factory rating) - Numerous options - Traceable history - Engine rebuilt in 2014 at 111,000 km The 1989 model year marks the culmination of the first generation of the 911 Turbo. After fourteen years in production, this final year saw the introduction of the G50 5-speed manual gearbox to replace the previous 4-speed transmission, thereby optimising engine performance. This example stands out for its factory-fitted mechanical configuration. It is equipped with option 148, corresponding to the manufacturer’s performance kit (WLS). This specification boosts the power of the 3.3-litre Flat-6 engine to 330 bhp, instead of the 300 bhp of the standard version, thanks to an enlarged heat exchanger, a modified injection system and a quad-exit exhaust. A kit that also fitted the legendary Turbo S. The identification label in the logbook confirms the other factory options, namely the heated left-hand seat (code 139), an 88 Ah battery (code 197), the factory radio (code 326), the electrically height-adjustable left-hand sports seat (code 383) and the electric sunroof (code 650). Another specific detail is that the turbo pressure gauge is digital and LED-based, just like on the 935s! This vehicle was delivered new in Germany on 22 December 1988 by the Auto Rossel GmbH dealership in Wiesbaden. This 911 was subsequently imported into France in the late 1990s, before joining the collection of its current owner, who has owned it for 20 years. A comprehensive file of invoices accompanies the car. Following an accident, a restoration project was undertaken on this 930 in 2014, at a time when the vehicle had 111,000 km on the clock. This work was carried out by the specialist Garage Boutinaud, and details of the work remain available on request. On this occasion, the engine was also completely rebuilt and serviced by the same specialist. The car now has 122,000 km on the clock and its valid MOT certificate attests to its careful use. Since then, the car has been regularly serviced by Garage Terriou. The original service history book and all service booklets are present. In terms of performance, the engine, the G50 gearbox and the supercharger system are operating in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications. Combining the 5-speed gearbox with the factory 330-horsepower engine, this example has a proven history spanning two decades under the same ownership. A true rarity on the market. 1989 Porsche 930 Turbo WLS G50 Chassis WP0ZZZ93ZKS000301 French Registration Certificate - G50 Transmission - WLS Engine: 330 factory horsepower - Numerous options - Known history - Engine rebuilt in 2014 at 111,000 km The 1989 model year marks the culmination of the first generation of the 911 Turbo.
