The engine block is matching numbers, whilst the cylinder heads are believed to have been replaced during the vehicle’s lifetime. Prior to importation, the original carburettor was replaced with a Summit model, whilst the cast iron manifolds were replaced with stainless steel components, accompanied by a complete stainless steel exhaust system. The original power steering is still fitted, and the starter motor and flywheel have been replaced by the importer. Since 2018, this Corvette has undergone a major restoration programme. The overall appearance has been revamped with a full repaint in yellow – the car was originally white – along with the replacement of numerous trim components such as the interior seals, rear light covers and the fuel filler cap badge.
