Description
1989 Lancia Thema 8.32 No reserve Chassis number: ZLA83400000150631 French registration document • One of 203 examples delivered new in France • A blend of Lancia elegance and Ferrari passion • Lancia certificate of origin • Extensive file of invoices • In good overall condition In terms of technical specifications, the Thema 8.32 is thus equipped with the 2.9-litre 32-valve V8 engine originally fitted to the Ferrari 308 QV. To adapt this engine to a front-wheel-drive layout, the engineers carried out specific calibration. Power was reduced to 215 bhp to optimise low-end torque, whilst torque increased by 45 Nm. The car on display, a 1988 8.32, rolled off the production line in August 1988. Intended for the French market, it was sold in June 1989 by the Dourdan dealership to its first owner, Mr Casaro, in Grigio Quartz with a beige Alcantara interior. In 1993, the car followed him to the Alpes-Maritimes. In 2004, the Thema changed hands and moved to Seine-et-Marne. It was in 2008 that the current collector acquired it. Since then, regular mechanical maintenance has been carried out, as evidenced by the substantial file of invoices. Notable recent work includes the replacement of the timing belt in 2022 and the overhaul of the ignition system in 2023. Aesthetically, the care taken in maintaining this car is evident: the paintwork looks good, the interior is well-preserved, the dashboard is not cracked; only the driver’s seat and a few minor dents on the bodywork show signs of age. The spoiler and most of the car’s accessories are in working order. A test drive of around thirty kilometres and a valid MOT revealed a car with no significant faults. Accompanied by its Lancia certificate of origin and a known history in France since its delivery, this Thema 8.32 represents an opportunity for enthusiasts of characterful saloons. 1989 Lancia Thema 8.32 Chassis number: ZLA83400000150631 French registration certificate • One of 203 units delivered new in France • The combination of Lancia elegance and Ferrari passion • Lancia Certificate of Origin • Extensive invoice history • In good overall condition In terms of technical specifications, the Thema 8.32 features the 2.9-litre 32-valve V8 engine originally fitted to the Ferrari 308 QV.
