Description
1994 - BMW 850 CSi French registration title French registration title Chassis n° WBSEG91080CC01983 Very nice configuration, originally from France, 4th owner and just over 110,000 kilometres on the clock. Very nice configuration, originally from France, fourth owner and just over 110,000 kilometres on the clock. - The 850i only offered a 300 bhp 5.5-litre V12 and, given the high weight of this top-of-the-range coupé, BMW entrusted its Motorsport division with the task of preparing this noble engine. From 1992 onwards, the 850 CSi was equipped with a revised 5.6-litre, 380bhp V12, mechanical 6-speed gearbox, self-locking axle and rear-wheel steering. - With only 1,510 CSIs produced, this coupé, in addition to its driving pleasure and feline lines, is already one of the most sought-after BMWs, especially for examples with French origins and a well-known history, and with a manual gearbox. - This car has had 4 owners and was sold new in France in December 1994, in the name of a company registered with the RCS in October of the same year. A very handsome car for a company director in a hurry, typical of the period. The current 4th owner acquired it in 2010, and spent more than €15,000 (invoices) on various maintenance work, notably on the brakes, clutch, etc. The car is also fitted with an optimised injection unit (via the Powerchips company). - This car is in a very nice colour configuration with its Oxford Green metallic bodywork, black leather interior and sunroof, as well as its BMW Bavaria C Professional brand car radio with 6-CD charger. - The car is in good condition, both in terms of operation and presentation, and will require a few cosmetic treatments to regain the lustre of its youth; we have noted a small discrepancy in the mileage via Histovec, of the order of 2,500 km between 2000 and 2002. It will also be necessary to refit a cover on a rear roof pillar inside the cabin and repair the driver's seat, which won't lower. - The 850i was only available with a 5.5-litre V12 engine producing 300 hp, and given the heavy weight of this high-end coupé, BMW entrusted its Motorsport division with the task of tuning this noble engine.
