- La Jaguar XJ-S a la lourde tâche d’assurer la succession de la mythique Type E. Présentée en 1975, le succès sera tel qu'elle sera conservée au catalogue jusqu’en 1995. En 1991, le V12 de la XJS est revu pour atteindre 6 l de cylindrée, et le style est revu avec notamment de nouveaux feux arrière, mais aussi un important travail sur les finitions de manière générale.
