Description
A RARE Chinese blue and white hexagonal narcissus bowl. It has a hexagonal shape and features delicate blue floral patterns on a white background. The body with prunus on cracked ice, is intricately designed with cut-out sections and vertical ridges, giving it an ornate and almost architectural appearance. The upper rim is slightly flared and bordered by a section with vertical blue stripes and small, stylized cutouts. Bowl interior depicting narcissus, the rim is decorated with a floral or vine pattern in cobalt blue. Kang-xi period, 18th Century. D : 17,5 cm, H : 13,5 cm. Very good condition, two baking flaws.
