A Sino-Tibetan thangka of buddha Shakyamuni. Sino-Tibetan, distemper on cloth. Painted in vibrant colors depicting Buddha Shakyamuni seated in dhyanasana on a lotus throne in a nature setting, his left hand in dhyana mudra cradling a begging bowl, surrounded by his main disciples, lamas, buddhis lions, amongst other creatures. An inscription to the reverse.18/19th Century. Dimensions : 74 x 57 cm (incl. frame), 48 x 41 cm (image). Good condition, some material loss, creasing, soiling, and loose threads. 48 x 40,5 cm (dimensions de l'oeuvre).
