Capuchon et corps en laque bleue translucide, overlay squelette en or massif Au 750 rhodié inspiré des porte-bagages ornementaux en métal forgé de l'Orient Express. Sommet du capuchon orné de l'emblème Montblanc en nacre serti dans de l'onyx noir, rehaussé d'incrustations de laque ivoire rappelant les bandes latérales des voitures. Cône en or massif Au 750 gravé de l'itinéraire de l'Orient Express de 1930, apogée du style Art Déco du train légendaire. Plume artisanale en or massif Au 750 gravée d'un bouquet de fleurs en hommage au décorateur René Prou et à ses marqueteries créées pour l'Orient Express. Référence MB129350. Poids : 86 g. Le voyage inaugural de l'Orient Express eut lieu le 4 octobre 1883 à la Gare de l'Est — date qui donna son nom à cette édition limitée à 333 exemplaires. Cap top featuring the Montblanc emblem in mother-of-pearl set in black onyx, with ivory lacquer inlays echoing the lateral stripes of the train's carriages. Solid Au 750 gold cone engraved with the route taken by the Orient Express in 1930, at the height of the train's legendary Art Deco glamour. Handcrafted solid Au 750 gold nib engraved with a small bouquet of flowers, paying homage to decorator René Prou and his marquetry designs created for the Orient Express. Ref. MB129350. Weight: 86 g.
