BUCCELLATI Paire de Boucles d'Oreilles Diamants Paire de boucles d'oreilles exceptionnelles en or jaune 750, serties chacune d'un diamant rond taille ancienne de couleur H — l'un pesant 4,90 carats, pureté VS1, l'autre 4,95 carats, pureté VVS2 — chaque pierre centrale étant entourée d'une couronne de diamants taille rose. Revers exécuté dans la texture "Rigato" caractéristique de la maison, rehaussé d'un petit diamant serti dans un motif ornemental. Le Rigato, signature absolue de Buccellati, est obtenu par l'incision manuelle de centaines de lignes infiniment fines à la surface de l'or, produisant un effet chatoyant évoquant la soie ou la mousseline. Poids total : env. 10,79 g. Signées "M. Buccellati, Italy", avec poinçon au blason. Circa 1970. Présentées dans leur écrin bleu Buccellati d'origine. Accompagnées de reproductions photographiques d'anciens rapports GIA pour les deux diamants principaux (certificats physiques originaux non disponibles). Fondée à Milan en 1919 par Mario Buccellati, la maison s'est imposée en moins d'une génération comme l'une des grandes références de la joaillerie italienne, portée par une maîtrise de l'orfèvrerie sans équivalent — en particulier dans l'art de la texture or, dont le Rigato est l'expression la plus emblématique. Des pièces de cette qualité, réunissant deux diamants anciens de premier plan, une signature de Mario Buccellati et leur écrin d'origine, se rencontrent rarement sur le marché. Très bon état général. BUCCELLATI Pair of Diamond Earrings An exceptional and rare pair of 18k yellow gold earrings, each set with a natural round old-cut diamond of H colour — one weighing 4.90 carats, VS1 clarity, the other 4.95 carats, VVS2 clarity — each principal stone encircled by a surround of natural rose-cut diamonds. The reverse is delicately worked in Buccellati's characteristic 'Rigato' texture and enhanced by a small diamond set in an ornamental design. The Rigato, Buccellati's absolute signature, is achieved by the hand-etching of hundreds of infinitely fine lines into the surface of the gold, producing a shimmering, fabric-like finish that evokes the texture of silk or muslin. Total weight: approx. 10.79 g. Signed 'M. Buccellati, Italy', with crest hallmark. Circa 1970. Presented in their original fitted blue Buccellati box. Accompanied by photographic records of previous GIA reports for both principal diamonds (original physical certificates no longer extant). Founded in Milan in 1919 by Mario Buccellati, the house established itself within a generation as one of the great references in Italian jewellery, carried by an unrivalled mastery of goldsmithing — most notably in the art of gold texture, of which the Rigato is the most iconic expression. Pieces of this quality, uniting two principal old-cut diamonds of the first order, a Mario Buccellati signature and their original case, are encountered only rarely on the market.
