NGC MS 61 (8769666-001).
Frappe spéciale aux reliefs satinés. Plusieurs versions du coin de revers existent pour cette médaille, celui-ci avec CŒLESTI et REMIS en fin d’exergue, par Caunois. Rarissime dans ce métal ! De minimes griffures dans les champs, à peine frottés avec quelques hairlines. Superbe.
Les médailles de platine furent frappées de manière régulière sous la Restauration par la Monnaie des Médailles, ce qu’attestent les registres de fabrication, mais toujours en quantité infimes. Selon les chiffres fournis par A. Weil en 1980, en 1825, 102.316 médailles furent frappées dont seulement 787 en or et 20 en platine ! La destination de ces médailles est connue : elles étaient offertes par le Roi à des visiteurs de marque, ou destinées à quelques riches amateurs qui pouvaient en acquérir à l’Hôtel des Monnaies comme le Duc de Rivière

表面：「CAROLUS. X. REX. – CHRISTIANISSIMUS(王シャルル10世- 至聖なるキリスト教王)」 王冠を戴き、アーミン毛皮の外套、刺繍されたネクタイ、聖霊勲章の大首飾りを身につけた王の右向き胸像 下部に署名刻印の「DE PUYMAURIN. NUMIS. PR.」と「E. GATTEAUX.」
裏面：「REX. CAROLUS. CŒLESTI. OLEO. UNCTUS. (聖油を注がれるシャルル王)」 塗油式の場面にて、6人の大貴族と1人の従者に囲まれ、大司教の前にひざまずくシャルル王 下部に６行の銘文：「ADSTANTIBUS. FRANCIAE. PARIBUS/ REGIONUMQUE. DELECTIS. SUMMIS. LEGUM/ ADMINISTRIS. EXERCIT. PROCERIBUS/ GENTIUM. EXTERAR. LEGATIS./ XXIX. MAII. MDCCCXXV/ REMIS. (フランス王国、パリおよび各地方の選出代表者、最高司法官、軍最高司令官、各国貴族、外国公使ら参列の下 - 1825年５月29日ランスにて)」、その下に署名刻印「CAUNOIS F.」

王政復古時代、メダル造幣局ではプラチナ製のメダルが定期的に鋳造されていたことは製造台帳によって証明されていますが、その数は常にごくわずかに限られていました。1980年にA. ヴァイル氏が提示した数字によると、1825年のメダル製造数102,316枚のうち金製はわずか787枚、プラチナ製はたったの20枚です！これらのメダルの用途は明らかで、王から要人への贈答品として、あるいはリヴィエール公爵のような富裕な愛好家らが造幣局から購入するためのものでした。

NGC MS 61. Special strike with satin-finished reliefs. Several versions of the reverse die exist for this medal; this one features “CŒLESTI” and “REMIS” at the end of the exergue, by Caunois. Extremely rare in this metal! Minimal scratches on the fields, barely scuffed with a few hairlines. About Uncirculated.
Platinum medals were minted regularly during the Restoration by the Medal Mint, as attested by the production records, but always in very small quantities. According to figures provided by A. Weil in 1980, in 1825, 102,316 medals were minted, of which only 787 were in gold and 20 in platinum! The purpose of these medals is known: they were presented by the King to distinguished visitors, or intended for a few wealthy collectors who could purchase them at the Hôtel des Monnaies, such as the Duke of Rivière.
