Introduced at Baselworld in 1953, the Rolex Turn-O-Graph ref. 6202 is often considered the forerunner of the Submariner, sharing many of the design elements that would later become hallmarks of Rolex sports watches. Its black dial, luminous markers, small crown and rotating graduated bezel already reflected the brand's evolving tool-watch philosophy. The example offered here is accompanied by expertise by Bernardini. The dial has developed a pleasing, even patina over time, while the hands match the tone of the radium hour markers. Combining historical importance, originality and strong preservation, this ref. 6202 is a rare and highly collectible piece.
