In folio, tan sheepskin, large sixteenth-century black and gold decoration, tan leather endpapers decorated with gold and brown scrolls, gilt head, illustrated cover preserved, tan half-sheepskin folder with bands and lined slipcase (Publisher's binding). Second edition, definitive and largely original. It contains 883 recipes, of which 263 are unpublished (more than a third). Only 150 copies of the first edition were printed in 1919. Edition of 250 copies, this being one of 10 copies hors commerce signed and numbered by D. Morcrette (HC 2). Autograph signed letter from D. Morcrette: "To our dear Christian Ignace, thanking him for reviewing the new recipes / Affectionately, / M(orcrette)".
