It is illustrated with 17 copper-engraved plates by Tourcaty; and is incomplete of the second table as very often in copies bound at the time (Table alphabétique et raisonnée, pp. 357-384). Attached: [MONTBRISON (B. de)]. Propos de table followed by Contes pour la veillée and Fables nouvelles. 1807; in-8 half vellum with paper parts (later binding). First edition printed in a small number. Numerous notes and elucidations on table talk; one relating to the famous cook Aufran tells of his rivalry with another cook established in a neighbouring town.
