Terms of sale
A fine auction of household goods, mainly from estates and house clearances. Auction held in the auction room and streamed online. Single buyer’s premium: 21.6% including VAT for all bids (live, firm bids placed live or in advance, telephone bids, and bids made in the auction room). NO ADDITIONAL FEES FOR LIVE BIDDING. A MANDATORY DEPOSIT of €100 (estimate < €1,000) or €500 (estimate > €1,000) is required to bid LIVE (not collected before the auction; collected immediately after the lot is awarded). THE SALE IS FOR CASH ONLY. Payment must be made within a maximum of 15 days. The full amount of the deposit will be retained as an administration fee should the successful bidder fail to make payment or collect the lot, for whatever reason. The deposit cannot automatically be treated as a down payment towards the final settlement. The lots awarded will then be put up for sale again following a repeat auction. Telephone bids are accepted for lots with an estimated value of over €200, subject to line availability (limited number of lines). Deadline for submitting bids: midday on the day of the sale.
