Terms of sale
The ‘Collections & Estates of Nice’ showcase antique furniture, silverware and modern paintings. This auction brings together collections that have been carefully assembled over generations. Eighteenth-century furniture is particularly well represented, with several pieces marked by Henri Jacob, de Broscolle (a pupil of Benneman), Canabas, and others. These pieces complement a fine collection of silverware from the Ancien Régime, remarkable clocks and a selection of modern paintings, ranging from Gussoni to Jongkind, via Rivière, Gorgette Tavé and Pégurier, creating an auction where the collector’s discerning eye meets the joy of discovery.
