The "Trésors & Héritage" sale on 24 June brings together a remarkable array of numismatics, jewellery, paintings and decorative arts. Highlights include an important group of gold coins, including a lot of seventeen Victoria coins, and a selection of jewellery by Mellerio, Van Cleef & Arpels, Tiffany & Co. and Mauboussin. Painting enthusiasts will notice the delicate Portrait of a Young Woman in Chinese Dress by Pauline Dohn Rudolph, as well as a rare set of three sketches by George Desvallières, testifying to the artist's expressive vigour. Ironwork also features prominently, with a rare resting bed by Gilbert Poillerat, exhibited at the 1953 Salon des Artistes Décorateurs, and several works from the Abel and Jean-Pierre Guigo Bataillard collection, a prestigious line of French ironworkers.
