TEXTILE HERITAGE #18 Monday 21 September 2026 – 2.30 pm Public exhibition: Saturday 19 September from 2 pm to 6 pm Sunday 20 September from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm Expert: Raphaël MARAVAL-HUTIN Auction Manager: Albanne SUTTER Enquiries: [email protected] As part of our preparations for our upcoming Antique Textiles sales, we are particularly seeking the following items for collectors: • Antique costumes and costume accessories from the 18th and 19th centuries: French-style garments, court dresses and elegant wardrobes, even if not in perfect condition. Over the past ten years, several historical costumes sold by us have found their way into the collections of major museums in France and abroad. • Archives comprising: documentation on the subject, as well as albums of fabric samples from manufacturers in Lyon and elsewhere! • Lyon silk fabrics: presentation swatches of precious lampas, such as those on display at the Musée des Tissus – which is one of our buyers when we make fine discoveries – as well as curtains and even bed linens that are highly sought-after for the restoration of fine residences. • Selected household linens: dinner services, family sets for twelve, eighteen, twenty-four place settings and more; as this type of linen is no longer woven anywhere, discerning private clients who still entertain regularly ask us to source it for them. • Antique wallpapers: panoramic designs and antique rolls for historic restoration projects. • Textiles from around the world: cashmere shawls, Ottoman and Far Eastern embroidery.
