Daguerre, whose registered office is situated at 5bis rue du Cirque, 75008 Paris, is an operator of voluntary furniture sales by public auction, governed by Articles L. 321-4 et seq. of the Commercial Code (VEP). In this capacity, Daguerre acts as an agent on behalf of the seller and is therefore in no way a party to the contract of sale. The company is registered with the RCS under SIREN number: 429 641 087. General Terms and Conditions These general terms and conditions apply without reservation to buyers. They are published on our website prior to the auctions. By placing a bid, the bidder acknowledges that they have read the general terms and conditions and accept them without reservation. Please note that the terms and conditions may be subject to any written or verbal amendments issued before and during the sale, which are recorded in the sale minutes. PRE-SALE Information regarding lots The descriptions of the lots contained in the catalogues are drawn up to the best of our knowledge on the day of the sale and with all due care, subject to any corrections announced verbally at the time of the lot’s presentation and recorded in the sale minutes. Condition of lots Lots are sold as seen; it is therefore the bidders’ responsibility to examine each lot during the viewings. The absence of any mention in the catalogue does not in any way imply that the lots are in perfect condition or free from damage or defects. Only the existence of significant restorations, missing parts or additions is intended to be indicated. The dimensions and weights of the lots are given for information only. Photographs of lots Photographs are provided for illustrative purposes only and do not necessarily present comprehensive information on the condition of the lots. Changes to information The information contained in the catalogue may be subject to correction up until the time of the sale. Such changes shall be brought to the public’s attention by an announcement made by the authorised auctioneer and shall be recorded in the minutes of the sale. Lot estimates The auction house states that estimates are based on the condition, rarity, quality and provenance of the lots, as well as on recent auction prices achieved for similar items. Estimates are subject to change and therefore do not constitute any form of guarantee on the part of the seller. Withdrawal of a lot before or during the sale Daguerre reserves the right to withdraw a lot before or during the auction. Such withdrawal shall in no way give rise to any liability on the part of the auction house towards bidders.

COMPLETION OF THE SALE Methods of payment Payment of the full amount due by the successful bidder shall be made using the following methods: In cash: up to €1,000, including fees and taxes, for French private individuals and for French or foreign traders; up to €15,000 for foreign nationals who are not traders, upon presentation of their identity document showing a foreign address; By Visa or Mastercard, or UnionPay card, subject to a percentage fee. Obligation to pay Once the bid has been declared successful, the items become the sole responsibility of the successful bidder. As such, the successful bidder is obliged to pay the full hammer price, fees and taxes. Payment must be made in full within one month of the sale, failing which a formal notice will be issued and additional charges applied. No lot will be released to the successful bidder until all sums due have been paid in full. Please refer to the conditions set out in the BOFIP: https://bofip.impots.gouv.fr/bofip/1290-PGP.html/identifiant%3DBOI-TVA-SECT-90-50-20120912 Late payment In the event of failure to make full payment of the sums due within 30 days of the invoice being sent to the successful bidder, Daguerre reserves the right to send the buyer a formal notice requiring them to make full payment within fifteen (15) days of the notice being sent. Following the expiry of the fifteen-day period after the letter of formal notice has been sent, the successful bidder shall be liable to pay a fixed compensation of 40 euros to cover recovery costs. Failure to pay In accordance with Article L. 321-14 of the Commercial Code, in the event of the successful bidder’s failure to pay and following an unsuccessful formal notice, the item may be put up for sale again at the seller’s request, by means of a repeat auction. If the seller does not make such a request within three months of the auction, the Daguerre auction house may act in the seller’s name and on the seller’s behalf. The defaulting successful bidder may not invoke the termination of the contract to evade their obligations. The auction house may notify the defaulting successful bidder of the automatic termination of the sale, without prejudice to any claim for damages. The defaulting successful bidder remains liable for the costs of the sale. The auction house may proceed with the enforcement of the sale on its own behalf and/or on behalf of the seller. In the event of non-payment and following the deposit of a security by the defaulting successful bidder, Daguerre reserves the right to retain the entire security deposit by way of compensation. Daguerre reserves the right to exclude any defaulting successful bidder from future sales and to register them on the TEMIS database.
