Terms and conditions of sale:
Payment on the day of the sale: the sale is made in cash and the successful bidder is required to pay, in addition to the auction price :
- 27% VAT included [i.e. 25.6% excluding VAT (5.5% VAT) for books and 22.5% excluding VAT (20% VAT) for all other lots including manuscripts and cards].

Any interested party may register on https://https://drouotonline.com/ in order to follow our live auction and bid during the sale.
The successful bidder using this platform must pay an additional fee of 1.5% before tax (1.8% incl. VAT) for the use of the platform.
GUARANTEE
All objects, whether modern or antique, are sold under the guarantee of the auctioneers and, if applicable, of the expert who assists them, in accordance with the descriptions given in the catalogue, and taking into account the corrections announced at the time of presentation of the object and recorded in the minutes.
The firm KÂ-MONDO informs that it reserves the right to withdraw one or more lots and/or to modify the descriptions before the beginning of the sale.
All registrations on Drouot.com must be systematically accompanied by a copy of an identity document for natural persons and a KBis for legal entities.
The failure of all the technical means made available to customers (Internet and all other means) is not the responsibility of the Auction House.
Bidding: the successful bidder will be the highest and last bidder, and will be legally obliged to provide his/her name and address as well as valid identification (a recent Kbis and a power of attorney for legal entities). The lots and their accessories will only be handed over to the purchasers once the full amount has been paid. In the event of payment by bank transfer, the delivery of the items may be deferred until payment has been received.
If the successful bidder fails to pay the amount of the hammer price plus all costs payable by him/her as soon as possible, the lot will be re-sold on the basis of an irresponsible bid by the unsuccessful bidder and his/her account will be suspended.
The unsuccessful bidder will be automatically required to pay the difference between the hammer price and the resale price, upon re-bidding, without being able to claim the excess, if any.
The unsuccessful bidder will owe interest on the hammer price until the day of resale, without prejudice to any damages; under no circumstances will he be able to repeat what he has paid as a result of the hammer price.
KÂ-MONDO Auction House reserves the right to offset any sums owed to the defaulting buyer. Likewise, KÂ-MONDO reserves the right to exclude from future sales any successful bidder who has not complied with these conditions of sale.
As soon as the adjudication is pronounced the purchases are under the whole responsibility of the purchaser.
PAYMENT
The sale is made in cash and conducted in euros.
Payment must be made immediately after the sale.
The successful bidder may pay by the following means:
- in cash: up to €1,000 including fees and taxes for private individuals and professionals who are French nationals, up to €15,000 including fees and taxes for private individuals who are foreign nationals, i.e. non-professionals, on presentation of their identity papers.
- by bank transfer (IBAN is at the bottom of the form)
- by bank card (except American Express).

- KÂ-MONDO does not accept cheques.
No lot will be given to the purchasers before the payment of the totality of the sums due.
LATE OR DEFAULT PAYMENT
PREVENTION OF NON-PAYMENT FILE OF RESTRICTIONS ON ACCESS TO AUCTIONS
KÂ- MONDO subscribes to the TEMIS service, which enables it to consult and update the file of restrictions on access to auction sales (TEMIS File). By participating in the sale, you acknowledge that you have been informed that :
- any sales slip that is unpaid or in arrears may be entered in the TEMIS File and restrict your ability to participate in auctions;
- Important notifications concerning the outcome of the auction will be sent to you at the e-mail and/or postal address declared to KÂ- MONDO or to the Live platforms. If you are registered with the TEMIS File, KÂ- MONDO may make access to its services conditional upon the use of specific means of payment or guarantees or refuse you access to certain services for which these guarantees cannot be implemented. The TEMIS File is implemented by the company Commissaires-Priseurs Multimédia (CPM). It may be consulted by all auction houses operating in France and subscribing to the service. Your registration will be deleted automatically after a maximum of 24 months if you are only registered once, and after a maximum of 36 months if you are registered several times. To find out whether you are registered in the TEMIS Register and by which sales structure(s), you may write to Commissaires- Priseurs Multimédia, 37 rue de Châteaudun, 75009 Paris, France or to
[email protected], enclosing a copy of your identity card. To contest the registration of a listing, once you have received CPM's response, you must contact the organisation that registered you so that it can update the information concerning you. In the event of difficulties, you may, if you consider it necessary, submit a complaint to CPM, providing any details and supporting documents required to investigate your complaint. For further information on the TEMIS File and your rights, you may consult : - TEMIS's Privacy Policy available at https://temis.auction.
The other Live platforms used for our sales allow us to report a recalcitrant payer and thus block the account.
INSURANCE
As soon as the auction has been announced, the objects awarded are placed under the sole responsibility of the buyer. It is the buyer's responsibility to insure the lots as soon as they are sold. Goods not removed will be stored at the buyer's expense and risk. The firm KÂ-MONDO will not be bound by any guarantee concerning these deposits.
WITHDRAWAL OF LOTS
With the sending of your slip, we indicate you the localization of your purchases, the conditions of withdrawal and the expenses of warehousing according to the place.

It is the buyer's responsibility to use the carrier of their choice. However, if you use a carrier who is not an art object professional, such as an ordinary courier, a self-help service between private individuals, or similar, we will not take any claims into account.
We strongly recommend that the service provider takes a photograph of the item at the time of collection in order to certify its condition.
